Supporting Ageing in Place Through Elderly Care Technology

As more older adults wish to remain in familiar surroundings, elderly care technology can play an increasingly important role in supporting safer and more manageable home living. Finesse Group recently visited the Hong Kong Society for the Aged to deliver the “Smart Technology to Protect You” elderly care seminar. During the session, participants were introduced to CARER.Home and CARER.AI and learned how innovative technology can support home safety, health management and ageing in place.
Supporting Ageing in Place with CARER.Home
At the seminar, the Finesse Group team introduced CARER.Home and explained how smart technology can be incorporated into an older adult’s home environment. The solution is designed to support safer home living and give families greater reassurance when caring for an older relative. This approach also reflects a wider goal of ageing in place: enabling older adults to continue living in a familiar environment while receiving appropriate care and support.
Exploring Health Management with CARER.AI
Participants were also introduced to CARER.AI and its facial scanning function. During the demonstration, attendees learned how a facial scan can provide six health indicators for reference. The experience gave them a clearer understanding of how artificial intelligence can make health information more accessible and support greater awareness of personal health.
Combining Innovation with a Human Touch
At Finesse Group, we believe that care technology should be developed and introduced with genuine human needs in mind. Our goal is to combine innovative solutions with warmth, care and practical support. CARER.Home and CARER.AI reflect this approach by using technology to assist older adults, caregivers and families throughout the care journey.
