Because of the ongoing 5th wave of COVID-19, more people are concerned about whether they still have enough antibodies against the virus after being vaccinated or infected. Therefore, together with the Neighbourhood Advice-Action Council (NAAC) and Abbott, we launched the "Community Antibody Test Pilot Scheme" to conduct a free antibody test for the elderly to provide information about their antibody level*.
While waiting for the test results, the participants try out our upcoming "CARER.AI" mobile app. They are very interested in making appointments for escort, companion, rehabilitation & nursing services on their mobile phones. They are looking forward to the official release!
* The Panbio™ COVID-19 IgG Rapid Test Device detects immunoglobulin (IgG) antibodies to the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein receptor binding domain (S1-RBD). This test can identify individuals with prior COVID-19 infection or post vaccination antibodies. This antibody test can help you determine if an individual has developed antibodies post infection and/or post vaccination. Conduct serological surveillance. This is done by taking “snapshots” of the percentage of people who have antibodies against SARS-CoV-2 (also called the seroprevalence) at different time points. This can provide information about antibody trends and help professionals determine the burden of severe disease on the healthcare system.
